For the first time since 1964, Nutella is introducing a brand-new flavor. Set to launch in spring 2026, Nutella Peanut blends the signature cocoa-hazelnut spread with the rich taste of roasted peanuts. It’s the first flavor addition to the Nutella family in over six decades, and it’s made with North American taste buds in mind.
And while Nutella Peanut will initially be limited to US shelves, there’s a chance it could reach more countries later on. If the product gains viral popularity, much like Dubai’s FIX chocolate, which started as a regional hit and expanded globally, Ferrero may bring Nutella Peanut to international markets.

Along with the peanut twist, Nutella Peanut is also dairy-free, a detail that may appeal to plant-based eaters, even though it’s not officially labeled vegan. The launch follows Ferrero’s earlier rollout of a plant-based Nutella in select European markets in 2024.
Ferrero’s North America president, Michael Lindsey, called the launch a milestone for the company, aiming to strengthen its brand presence in the region and reach both loyal fans and new consumers. If you’re curious to try it, you’ll need to head to US shelves, for now, it’ll be the only place you’ll find Nutella’s newest spread.
