TERO, the intimate tasting menu concept by Chef Reif Othman, is preparing for a two-night-only culinary event that redefines the fine dining playbook. Taking place on June 21 and 22, this special edition will feature Chef Mohamed Al Matin from Singapore.
Known for his inventive and genre-defying approach to desserts, Chef Matin brings with him a reputation honed at some of the world’s most renowned kitchens. For this exclusive Dubai takeover, he presents an 11-course tasting menu that explores the boundary between sweet and savoury.

This isn’t a traditional dinner with a sweet ending. Chef Matin’s menu repositions desserts as the main event, with dishes designed to surprise and challenge expectations. Here’s a sneak-peak of what to expect:
- A kombu tart with fresh and grilled sugar snap peas, paired with a pea husk sorbet
- Grilled Jerusalem artichokes glazed in salted koji caramel, served with umami kombu ice cream
The goal, according to Chef Matin, is to “break the conventional thinking of what desserts are meant to be.”
Planning to join the ultimate experience at TERO? Here are all the details:
- Dates: June 21 and 22
