If you enjoy long lunches or leisurely breakfasts with a stylish twist, there’s good news — tashas, the South African café known for its refined comfort food and relaxed vibe, is opening new branches in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah.

This expansion is part of a larger growth strategy announced by Natasha Sideris, founder and CEO of Tashas Group. Over the next 18 months, 16 new venues are expected to open across the Middle East and South Africa, with plans for 75 additional sites in the pipeline.

Launched in Johannesburg in 2005, tashas has grown into a globally recognised name, now with 38 locations across South Africa, the UAE, and the UK. In the UAE, its venues are often found in high-end neighbourhoods and are well-loved by both locals and expats.

Tashas Group now includes cafés, bars, restaurants, and retail spaces — but the brand’s core remains the same: serving fresh, well-made food in stylish, welcoming environments. With upcoming locations in Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, more UAE residents will soon be able to enjoy the signature tashas experience a little closer to home.
