Tom Felton is stepping back into the world of Harry Potter, but this time on stage. The actor, best known for playing Draco Malfoy in the original film series, will reprise the role in “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” on Broadway starting November 11, 2025. The production runs at the Lyric Theatre through March 22, 2026.

This marks Felton’s Broadway debut and the first time an original Harry Potter film cast member joins the stage adaptation. Now 37, Felton will be the same age as Draco Malfoy in the story, which picks up 19 years after the final book, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”

In the play, the narrative shifts to a new generation — focusing on the friendship between Harry Potter’s son, Albus, and Draco’s son, Scorpius.

Felton has recently made a name for himself in theatre, performing in London’s 2:22 “A Ghost Story” in 2022 and most recently in “A Child of Science” at the Bristol Old Vic. His screen credits include “They Will Kill You” with Patricia Arquette and the upcoming comedy “Fackham Hall” alongside Damian Lewis.

This Broadway turn adds another milestone to Felton’s post-Potter career — and a unique crossover for longtime fans of the wizarding world.
